Have you been listening to all the reports of how bad we have it. everyone is out of a job and living in poverty and we will never recover. well i am here to tell you that i have been poor when the economy was fine and poor when the economy was great and i do not know anything about the stock market or have i ever owned any stock.That is not to say the economy doesn't affect me. my son was laid off because of mines closing 2 years ago from a great job as a diesel mechanic and my wife has just found a job in social work after many months of searching but as long as I have been in business since 1996 i have been fortunate thanks to the grace of God to have always fed my family and been able to pay my mortgage. We are lucky but we also never believed the lies the news was feeding us about how i should not be able to pay my bills or that i should be struggling. I realize many people lost everything but most of what was lost was not because of the economy it was because of greed of politicians and greed of mortgage companies and bankers and others manipulating the system. those same people are doing it again as we watch the economy come back we see that the same people are buying the same houses at half what they did three or four years ago. the companies are still doing the same work but with fewer people and charging more but paying less for the labor. the only way to combat this is to get your carpet cleaned focus on local businesses like Hero Cleaning to do your work not large franchises and stop listening to fox and cnn news they need to create fear and to have a daily crisis so they get viewers and sell advertising.
